Terms of service

These Terms of Service apply to Catati Shopify ecommerce purchases and website
use. They do not apply to Catati Cat Hotel bookings, accommodation, care or
hotel operations.

Seller and governing law

The ecommerce seller is CATATI LIMITED, trading as Catati, Catati NZ and Catati
Cat Store. These terms and Catati ecommerce sales are governed by New Zealand
law.

Website use

Customers may use the Catati website for lawful personal shopping and ordinary
account use. Customers must not interfere with the website, misuse checkout or
account features, scrape or copy content without permission, upload harmful
material, infringe intellectual-property rights, attempt unauthorised access, or
use the website in a way that disrupts Catati, customers or service providers.

Customer information

Customers must provide accurate contact, delivery, billing, account and payment
information. Catati is not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by
incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer, except where New
Zealand law requires otherwise.

Orders and acceptance

An order confirmation means Catati has received the order request. Catati
accepts an order by processing, packing, dispatching, making it ready for pickup
or otherwise confirming acceptance.

Catati may refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary because of
suspected fraud, payment issues, abusive conduct, stock error, genuine pricing
error, checkout error, resale or commercial misuse, breach of these terms, legal
requirements, safety concerns, or misuse of promotions or loyalty benefits. If
payment has been taken and goods are not supplied, Catati will provide a refund.

Prices and product information

Prices are in New Zealand dollars and are GST-inclusive where applicable unless
stated otherwise. Checkout shows the final shipping options and order total
before payment.

Catati tries to keep product descriptions, images, stock, prices, availability,
promotions and delivery information accurate. Genuine errors may be corrected,
including after an order is placed, where legally allowed and with a refund if
goods are not supplied.

Personal use and no resale

Normal online checkout purchases are for personal or household use. Customers
must not buy through Catati's normal online checkout for commercial resale
unless Catati agrees in writing.

Promotions

Promotions, discounts, bundles, free gifts, codes and offers are subject to the
specific terms stated with the offer, including eligibility, dates, stock
availability, minimum spend, product exclusions and one-use limits. Catati may
refuse, reverse or correct a promotion where there is a genuine error, fraud,
abuse, resale misuse or breach of the promotion terms, while still meeting
non-excludable legal obligations.

Paw Points

Catati Paw Points are personal to the account holder, non-transferable and have
no cash value. Paw Points do not expire under Catati's current rules. Points
earned from refunded orders may be reversed. Catati may suspend, reverse or
cancel points where there is verified fraud, abuse, resale misuse or programme
misuse.

Catati may change or end the Paw Points programme with at least 30 days' notice
where practical.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits any rights customers have under New Zealand law
that cannot be excluded, including rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act and
Fair Trading Act.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Catati is not liable for indirect or
consequential loss. Any liability limits in these terms apply only where New
Zealand law allows them and do not limit non-excludable consumer rights.

Events outside Catati's control

Catati is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events reasonably
outside its control, such as courier disruption, severe weather, natural events,
public holidays, supplier delays, technology outages, strikes, customs delays,
government action or other disruptions, while still meeting any non-excludable
legal obligations.

Changes to these terms

Catati may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version
published on the Catati website applies to future purchases.
