Material Deep Dive
This unit utilizes a combination of materials selected for tactile variety. The vertical pillar is tightly wound with premium sisal rope, which offers the necessary resistance for a cat to shed their outer claw sheaths. The secondary pillar features a "sphere-stack" design, providing different angles for horizontal and vertical scratching. The top perch is contoured with a raised rim, providing a sense of security and a designated "lookout" point, which reduces stress in multi-cat households.
